This year we celebrated National Poetry Day with Nik Perring. Nik, alongside the English team ran poetry workshops, where students were selected for two competitions: our in-house poetry competition, where winning students were winning students received a book of their choice and secured entry into the national Young Writers Poetry Competition, where 33 of our students have had their work published. This allowed students across college to explore the theme of empowerment.
